After breakfast, and additional instruction, Scott met his trainer. Although Scott's letters are vague. We know his companion's name is Elder Hansen. They share an apartment with two other Elders, Elder Haymond and Elder Dahle. His first area is called "Dinky Town." It includes the University of Minnesota.

Dinky Town, really? Or Dinky Town nickname? Where is Scott's companion from?
Dinky Town, nickname. I don't know where Elder Hansen is from-vague letters. Remember?
Gail & Nat below is a little info from Wikipedia on Dinkytown and also a link to the town website

Dinkytown, USA (more commonly known just as Dinkytown) is an area within the Marcy Holmes neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota consisting of several square blocks occupied by various small businesses, restaurants, food courts, bars, and the like, and apartment buildings mostly housing university students. Dinkytown is adjacent to the north side of the University of Minnesota campus.

In Dinkytown are some notable landmarks, including the Dinky Dome (a former theological seminary converted to a large food court), the Loring Pasta Bar (formerly Gray's Drug converted to a restaurant, and also the building where Bob Dylan lived in Minneapolis), and Al's Breakfast (arguably the city's smallest restaurant). Incidentally, The heart of Dinkytown is the intersection of 14th avenue & 4th Street SE. Some believe 4th Street to be Dylan's inspiration for his derisive "Positively 4th Street" (although Dylan also lived for a time on West 4th Street in New York City).
Hope he has winter-wear. How exciting for him.
Thanks Debbie! Dinkytown sounds too cool to be a mission area. He is totally loving the opportunity to teach people his own age:)
