Scott's mission call has FINALLY arrived! He opened it tonight at the high school, after the choir concert. LOTS, and I mean lots, of family and friends were there. Everyone had all guessed where they thought Scott would be serving the Lord for the next two years. Denise Allen was the closest. She guessed Michigan. Scott will be serving in the Minnesota, Minneapolis mission. He was so excited! He will leave on August 27, 2008.

I am so excited for this blog. It will be cool to be able to follow Scott on his journey. The Gospel is true and it is an awesome opportunity to go out and share it as a missionary. You will do a great job.
Just blog surfing and came across yours. I have a son who served in Minnesota in 1997-1999. He LOVED it there, but FROZE! We are in Las Vegas; so you can imagine the difference in the temperatures. He actually was an AP for about 8 months so he got to tour the entire mission a couple of times. Anyway, if Elder Nelson wants to see pictures or anything, just give us a holler. I remember that day so well... Scott was so excited that he almost opened up the letter BEFORE the concert. =D It was a pretty cool site to see all of his friends around to witness his mission call. I wish you the Best of Luck Scott.
